Advanced Implant Placement Block Bone Graft and Open Sinus Lift
A Two-Day Course Including Hands-On Workshop

This program is designed for experienced clinicians or past attendees of the basic implant course who would like to enhance their skills by learning additional surgical techniques. Attendees will learn the principles and surgical procedures required for advanced implant placement and bone grafting. Participants will have the ability to practice the course material through hands-on workshops.

 
 
 


Upon successful completion of this course the participants will be able to:

• Identify the indictors for bone grafting
• Develop a dental implant treatment plan
• Perform an intra-oral bone harvesting procedure
• Differentiate and utilize various bone graft materials
 

 
 

Curriculum:

 
 

Part I: Lectures
• Dental bone graft principles and techniques
• Indications for bone grafting procedures
• Bone biology and graft healing
• Anatomical considerations for dental implant
placement and dental bone grafting procedures
• Patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Instrumentation to assist in the bone grafting procedures
• Discuss bone grafting and barrier materials
• Demonstration of sinus lifting procedure
• Soft tissue procedures to develop graft sites
• Potential complications during dental implant placement,
bone grafting procedures and treatment
• Discussion of other advanced bone augmentation techniques

Part II: Lectures, Hands-on Exercises 
• Overview of the sinus lifting procedure and considerations
• Hands-on exercises including:
• Clinical protocols for soft tissue management for implant
placement and grafting procedures
• Bone harvesting
• protocols for sinus lifting procedure
• Implant placement

Cancellation and Refund Policy
To cancel your registration please notify the Dental Implant Training Center immediately and you will be issued a refund. Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to course start date will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee. Please allow four to six weeks for refunds. “No shows” will not qualify for a refund.
