Dental Implants Single-Tooth Replacement and Restoration
Two-Day Lecture and Hands-On Workshop
This program is supported through an unrestricted educational grant by MIS Implants Technologies, Inc.		  
 


This program is designed for dentists of all specialties who have limited or no experience with dental implants. Attendees will learn the theoretical basics and practical procedures for simple, single implant placement and restoration. Hands-on exercises will be performed on a specially designed type-2-bone-density maxillary model, based on real life patient casts and radiographic studies.

 
 

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
 

• Select and place the optimal implant
• type for the surgical  site
• Select the correct prosthetic components for
• implant restoration
•Take impressions for single-tooth prosthesis

Part I: Dental implantsurgery restoration -Lectures:
• Intro to dental implants and definitions.
• Anatomy of dental implants.
• Patient and case evaluation.
• Anatomic considerations.
• Study guides.
• Surgical guides.
• Bone physiology.
• Osseointegration.
• Protocol on placement of implants.
• Hands on model activities including:
• Osteotomy preparation, Implant placement.
• evaluation and conclusions.

Part II: Lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops
• Treatment planning.
• Protocol on placement of dental implants.
• Protocol on dental implant impressions.
• Hands-on model activities including: Extracting
• a dental implant,  Osteotomy preparation, 
• Dental implant placement and Occlusal 
• considerations.
• Hands-on designing the
• cemented prostheses: •  
• Impression techniques and abutment types 
• and selection.
• Exercise evaluation and conclusions.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
To cancel your registration please notify the Dental Implant Training Center immediately and you will be issued a refund. Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to course start date will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee. Please allow four to six weeks for refunds. “No shows” will not qualify for a refund.
